Privacy, cookies & analytics

Who is responsible?
Konstraff AB, Sweden, is responsible for the processing described here. Contact Konstraff about privacyto ask about your data or exercise your rights.
Your choice comes first
Optional analytics is off by default. We load Vercel Web Analytics only after you choose “Allow analytics”. Choosing “Only necessary”, ignoring the notice or continuing to browse does not enable it. Both choices allow you to use the full website.
You can change your choice through “Privacy settings” in the footer, or withdraw it using the button above. Withdrawal stops future analytics collection from this browser; it does not undo processing that occurred before withdrawal. The page reloads when needed to remove the analytics script and its listeners. Analytics is always disabled on our preview deployments.
Cookies and local storage
Our site code does not set advertising or analytics cookies. It uses browser local storage for the following choices. Local storage is a browser storage technology separate from cookies and is still covered by this notice.
- Privacy choice (konstraff-privacy-v1): your allow or reject choice, policy version and expiry date. Saved only after you make a choice and treated as expired after 180 days. It contains no visitor identifier and is not sent to our servers.
- Theme (hs_theme): the light or dark appearance you explicitly select. Without a saved choice, the site follows your device setting without saving a new preference. Kept until changed or cleared in your browser.
- Bookmarks (bookmarks): article paths saved when you use the bookmark button. Kept until you remove them or clear site storage. They are not sent as analytics events.
You can remove local storage in your browser’s site-data settings. The website still works when storage is blocked, but it may not remember choices between visits. The old announcement banner is no longer used. Hosting security or Vercel’s protected-preview sign-in may involve separate access-control technology.
What optional analytics measures
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand page visits and improve the website, on the basis of your consent. Vercel describes its service as cookieless and reports aggregated statistics. Data points can include the visited page, time, referring site, approximate location, browser, operating system and device category. Vercel uses a request-derived visitor hash rather than a persistent tracking cookie.
We strip query strings and fragments from the current page URL before sending page-view events. We do not send contact-form contents, bookmark choices or custom events, and we do not configure advertising trackers or session replay.
Vercel states that its visitor-session identifier is discarded after 24 hours. This is not a deletion period for all aggregated statistics. Reporting availability and retention depend on the provider’s service and account settings. See Vercel’s analytics privacy information and reporting-window information.
Hosting and international processing
Vercel hosts this website. Ordinary requests necessarily involve technical information, including an IP address, to deliver pages and protect the service. Rejecting optional analytics does not prevent the hosting provider from handling those requests. The purpose of that separate processing is website delivery and security, rather than optional visitor measurement.
Vercel and its service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Its Data Processing Addendum describes its processing terms and international-transfer safeguards. Contact us with questions about the arrangements applicable to this website.
Website enquiries
When you press “Send enquiry”, the form sends your name, email address, optional phone number and project message to a Vercel function. Resend delivers that information to Konstraff’s enquiry mailbox. We use your email as the reply address so our team can respond directly. This does not subscribe you to marketing and does not depend on allowing analytics.
We use the information to respond and handle your request. Depending on the enquiry, this supports steps before an agreement with you or our legitimate interest in responding to business correspondence. We do not keep submissions in a website database or store form contents in browser local storage. Correspondence and delivery records are handled by our email providers.
For abuse prevention, the form uses a short-lived signed token and temporary request counters keyed by a one-way transformation of the request IP address. The function expires these counters after ten minutes and does not log your form contents or raw IP address. Hosting providers may separately maintain technical security logs.
Resend processes email contents and delivery information. Its security information describes data storage in the United States and its email and log retention. An EU sending region does not mean storage stays in the EEA. See its Data Processing Addendum for processing terms and transfer safeguards.
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to address the request, manage a resulting engagement and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. Please do not send sensitive personal information through an initial enquiry. You can also open an email draft directly.
Your rights
Where personal data is involved, you may request access, correction, erasure or restriction, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and request portability where applicable. You can withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier consent-based processing. These rights depend on the processing and applicable requirements.
Contact us to make a privacy request. You may also lodge a complaint with Sweden’s privacy authority, IMY. We do not use this website for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
